Vexus Fiber committed to providing service to all of Albuquerque
Lubbock, TX – December 4, 2023 – After breaking ground in March of this year, Vexus Fiber has launched service to Phase 1 of its high-speed fiber broadband network in Albuquerque.
The first neighborhoods to get Vexus’ high-speed, fiber-to-the-home internet service will be just north of I-40 and West of I-25 covering over 1,000 homes and businesses, the beginning of superfast broadband coming to the entire city.

Other parts of the city are already under construction for high-speed fiber-optic broadband. Vexus plans to make the service accessible to 3,000 homes and businesses by the end of the year. Building out the entire city is anticipated to be completed by 2028. Vexus is investing $250 million in the Albuquerque project and creating more than 200 jobs during the construction phase and 150 permanent jobs after the build-out is complete.
