$20 Million 100% Fiber Optic Network to Go Live Early Next Year
LUBBOCK, TX – Vexus Fiber™, a leading provider of high-speed fiber optic internet and part of the nation’s largest independently owned 100 percent fiber optic network provider announced construction has begun on their 100% fiber optic network in Denison. Privately funded by Vexus, the network will introduce symmetrical multi-gigabit speed internet service to more than 12,000 homes and businesses.

Several residents and businesses have already expressed interest in services by pre-registering at vexusfiber.com/connect. The first areas under construction are Southeast of the city.
“We plan to start installations in these areas in the next 90 days,” said Jeff Kennaley, Director of Operations. “We expect construction to be complete throughout Denison in about 12 – 18 months.”

The network construction project will bring around 50 jobs to the area and once complete will provide around a dozen permanent positions in Denison. Vexus plans to open a retail location in Denison next year, as well.
