Vexus Fiber, a leading fiber service provider in Louisiana, New Mexico, and Texas, has announced they are breaking ground in Nacogdoches, Texas. They are building their 100% fiber-optic network throughout the Nacogdoches community. The 10-gigabit network is privately funded by Vexus, connecting homes and businesses to their symmetrical multi-gigabit speed internet services.
“We’re eager to begin construction of our fiber-to-the home network in Nacogdoches,” said Cameron Miller, regional VP of operations of Vexus Fiber. “Our network was designed to bring communities like Nacogdoches the most reliable, very fast, high-speed fiber internet. Not only is our network reliable, but it is also built for the future, which allows us to grow and develop with the city and its needs.”
Vexus Fiber’s network is designed to provide customers with symmetrical gigabit speeds and a secure connection that helps protect their personal information. It is also a network that is built to grow with the needs of the community it serves. These features are imperative in supporting the economic development of the region.
“As technology continues to be an important aspect in our day-to-day lives, it’s critical to trust that your network can handle all your needs,” said Mario Canizares, city manager of the city of Nacogdoches. “With that being said, we are extremely excited to have Vexus in our community as they bring our city to the next level. By providing both our residents and business owners with high-quality fiber internet, they are setting us up to be a booming Gigacity.”
As construction continues throughout the community, residents in construction areas will receive a 30-day advance notice via email and mail about construction activity in their neighborhood. Vexus provides additional messaging, such as yard signs, to notify residents of when construction is beginning in their neighborhood. Vexus crews are marked by ID tags and branded vehicles.
